Successful German Presence at Aero India 2025

Aero India 2025, February 10-14th, the leading aviation and defense trade fair in India, was inaugurated by Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who welcomed 26 defense ministers, 118 CEOs, and 900 exhibitors, including 150 international exhibitors. After an eight-year hiatus, Germany was back as the third-largest exhibitor nation with over 20 exhibitors. The German Pavilion of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, attracted numerous visitors, including high-ranking representatives from industry, politics, and the military.
Consul General Achim Burkhart and Nezet Tükenmez, President of Aerodata, also hosted Lieutenant General Thorsten Poschwatta and the envoy of the German Embassy in New Delhi, Georg Enzweiler, at the "Brotzeit" on Tuesday, February 11, with around 100 guests. The positive response underscored the importance of Germany as a reliable and strong partner. The objective now is to build on this foundation and further strengthen the presence of the German aerospace and defense industry in India. The participation of the German Air Force with the A400M and the A330MRTT impressively demonstrated the strategic significance of German technology for India's defense.
A heartfelt thank you to all participating companies that contributed to the success of the German Pavilion with their commitment. Further impressions and highlights of Aero India 2025 can be found below.
