Aviation Forum Munich 2022

Under the patronage of Jürgen Westermeier, CPO Airbus, around 150 exhibitors and over 750 participants from the global value chain as well as buyers and supply chain managers from OEMs and suppliers met.

The BDLI and 15 of its members were present at the conference with accompanying exhibition.

The goal of climate-neutral flying and the Take off to Zero campaign were the focus of our trade show presence. Here you can find the opening speech by Volker Thum, Chief Executive Officer, and the panel discussion "How can the industry invest in disruptive technologies to enable Net Zero carbon aviation by 2050?" with our colleague Dr. Stefan Berndes, Head of Department for Aviation, Equipment and Materials.
